Dr. Minor received his B.A. at the University of California Santa Cruz and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine. He finished his medical residency at California Pacific and his fellowship in medical oncology at Yale University. The Director of Inpatient Oncology at California Pacific Medical Center, he has been in private practice in San Francisco for 28 years, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF. He served on the Board of Directors, San Francisco unit, of the American Cancer Society for 17 years and founded the California Kidney Cancer Foundation in 1994, where he serves as medical director. He is the medical oncology consultant to the UCSF Melanoma Clinic.
